Principal’s Report
P&C
A huge thank you to the P & C and to all the families that have supported the P & C events in recent times. This has allowed them to raise the required funds to purchase the new bike racks.
Please remind your child/children to walk their scooters or bikes while on school grounds, for safety reason.
Staff News
As many of you already know, I plan to take long service leave for Term One of next year and hopefully will then apply to retire. My sincere congratulations go to Mr Ben Ker, as he has been awarded the principal’s role for Term One. Mr Mike Lee has won the deputy role as Ben’s replacement. Ms Webb has announced that she will be taking personal leave and long service leave for 2025, thus creating a vacancy in the deputy role. I am very happy to announce that Ms Jessica Owsiak has won the position. The position has been made full time. Replacement teachers for classrooms will be announced in the next newsletter.
End of Year Incursions and Excursions
Today Room 6 are going to His Majesty’s Theatre to watch the WA Ballet company performing Sleeping beauty, they are very excited by this trip, particularly as it is fully paid for by the patrons of the WA Ballet Company.
Pre-Primary and Kindergarten children have a very interesting bee incursion tomorrow. I hope to attend as I was fascinated to hear the number of the different types of bees we have in Australia.
Next Wednesday the 4 December the children in Clusters 3, 4 and 5 are attending Scitech for a fun filled day of adventure. The children in Rooms 1, 2, 3 and 4 are going to the Spare Parts Puppet Theatre on Thursday 5 December, where they will be in for a real treat.
Presentation Assemblies
On Tuesday 3 December, we have the Year Six presentation day, all families are welcome to attend the assembly at 8:45 am.
The Book Award presentation assemblies are on Tuesday 10 December for Years One to Six and on Wednesday 11 December for PP and Kindergarten. I am looking forward to the performance and to see how well different children have been doing this year. We invite all families to attend these two assemblies, both commencing at 8:50 am.
Values Days and P&C Disco
On Friday of next week, 6 December we will have our Values morning with some new twists to the fun this year. All the children will need to have their bathers for this day. This will be followed by the P & C's free Hawaiian themed disco, commencing at 6 pm.
The final week of term has another Values event with the Cuddly Animal farm visiting the school. All three of these events are free for the children to attend.
Swimming Carnival
This Friday is the annual swimming carnival, thank you to Mr Lee and Mrs Clamp for your work arranging this.
School Reports
Reports will be electronically sent on the afternoon of Wednesday 11 December. Please let the school know if you don’t receive one for your child.

School Grounds
Our new gardner, Sandro, has been doing a fantastic job tidying up a few areas of the school that needed some attention. Thank you and great job Sandro!
Voluntary Contributions 2025
It is a requirement from the Education Department that all families are informed two months before the commencement of the next school year of possible charges for the following year. This is to allow families an opportunity to budget for those programs if required. The amounts shown are the maximum amount that you could be charged over the year. In many cases we never come close to the amounts, with the exception of swimming lessons and the Year Six camp.
Has your contact information changed?
Please notify the office if any of your contact details have changed. It is important that we have the correct contact information for carers and students for general correspondence and
in the case of an emergency.
