Principal’s Report
The school year is rapidly ending, but we still have so much to do before it does. There are several excursions and incursions planned. Hopefully the children will all maintain their good standing to be eligible to attend all the events.
Remembrance Day
A big thank you to Mrs Todd and her amazing crew that placed the red poppies on the fence for last Monday’s Remembrance Day.
Touchscreen
Touchscreen free to a good home: At the commencement of this year, we had to relocate the space that is used for teaching our Language Other than English class, to the desk space in the library. This meant a few changes to the space to make it workable as a classroom. One of the changes was taking a large mobile touchscreen out and replacing it with one that is fixed to the wall. The screen is approximately 1800mms wide, and the stand and screen together are about 1700mms. We have no use for it at the school but would hate for it to go to waste as it is still in working order. It just needs to be connected to a computer, either desktop or laptop. We are happy to give it away to a family from the school; you would need to arrange your own pick up for it though. Please contact the front office if you are interested. We are happy to have you come and view it first as the photo doesn’t show it properly.
Email Accounts
Please double check that the school has your correct email account. This is vital for when we send the Semester Two reports home to parents. They will be sent on Wednesday 11 December. As the Kindergarten children have a different report, they will still be given to the parents at pick up time. K1 will receive theirs on Tuesday 10 December and K2 on Wednesday 11 December.
Kindergarten 2025
We still have spaces available in our kindergarten for 2025. If you have a child that will have turned four before 30th June 2025 or know a family that do, and they haven’t enrolled anywhere yet please don’t hesitate to inquire at the front office.
Stationary Requirements for 2025
Book lists are on our website under the Enrolment/Student Requirements tab. Please note, online orders through Campion close on Friday November 15.

Run Club
We had our first running club session for the term last week. Sessions will continue every Friday morning at 8 am and go for about 30 minutes. It would be great to see lots of students coming down to improve their fitness and have some fun. Parents, you are more than welcome to sit and watch. If your child is in pre-primary or kindy it would be great for them to have a go but can I please ask that you stay on site and supervise until the siren sounds. Latte Lab will be serving coffees in their usual position. Please order yourself a coffee before the teachers do.

Voluntary Contributions 2025
It is a requirement from the Education Department that all families are informed two months before the commencement of the next school year of possible charges for the following year. This is to allow families an opportunity to budget for those programs if required. The amounts shown are the maximum amount that you could be charged over the year. In many cases we never come close to the amounts, with the exception of swimming lessons and the Year Six camp.
Has your contact information changed?
Please notify the office if any of your contact details have changed. It is important that we have the correct contact information for carers and students for general correspondence and in the case of an emergency.
